Please note that the Cana Volunteer Rescue Squad is a volunteer Emergency Service dedicated to assisting the residents of Cana, VA in their time of need. Last year we responded to more than 1,000 calls that requested our assistance. Keeping this in mind, you can understand why we are always looking to increase our membership. If you are interested in becoming a member, please complete the application portion of the site or write to us via e-mail and someone will be in touch. The Rescue Squad provides all training; all we ask of you is your time.

In addition to responding to emergency calls, the Rescue Squad is involved in various other services, which benefit our Community. Some examples are; the attendance at various events in the Community, celebrations, sports events, and sponsoring first aid training.

Welcome to the Official Site of the Cana Volunteer Rescue Squad. Cana Volunteer Rescue Squad, INC was founded in the 1970's. Our organization started out as a 'load & go' service. Times, education, and circumstances have changed. And, with this, Cana Volunteer Rescue Squad, INC has changed. With growth, knowledge, and dedication of our volunteer members, we are an Advanced Life Saving Volunteer EMS provider. We would like to thank you for your interest and invite you to view all associated pages, which will give you a good overview or our organization.
